Those Reluctant To Learn Will Never See Growth

Reluctant To LearnDon’t be reluctant to learn; strive to be successful at your chosen field or niche.

As an entrepreneur we have to make a culture of learning for us to follow and be able to stick our plan to learn. We have to be learning almost daily to keep up with the changing industry and technology available to be successful.

I can almost bet we all know one or two people, maybe more that have the attitude that they don’t want to or are reluctant to learn anymore then they are required to or just enough to not get fired. We are taught young to go to school, get a good education, and to get a good job. So, many burn out after they enter their first career path and many steer away from their true potential.

Here are three obstacles that overcoming will lead you to be a successful entrepreneur:

1. Fear – Fear is one of the biggest hurdles in life! Fear of the outcome, Fear of the uncertain, Fear of failure, we’ve all had some form of fear in our lives. Maybe it’s the fear of self-growth.

What would happen if I failed, how would people look at me then? You have to get over the fears and learn from your mistakes. You have to believe in yourself to grow. Get rid of your limiting beliefs and take fear head on.

2. Inability – Sometimes we already have set ourselves ups with the thought of we can’t do this or this won’t work, or I tried that once. Inability is something that anyone can push passed with enough effort. Find a mentor and start learning and practicing to achieve your goals.

For instance, if you have never tried swimming before, then taking on the challenge of swimming across a lake may seem unrealistic. On the other hand, if you have tried to swim across the lake before and failed, then you may hold the belief that you just can’t do it.

3. Rejection – Rejection can have many emotional values and can often lead to criticism whether that’s self-criticizing or from others. But, with that criticism can lead to a great learning experience if you accept it.

You can take the criticism, learn from it, and then come back stronger with what was given to you. Always take criticism from others with a grain of salt towards your feelings, but always process it to build on it.  Rejection is almost a guarantee in life, but it’s what we do with it and if you’re willing to keep trying, you will succeed!

I hope these 3 steps will help steer you away from being reluctant to learn and improve your success. We all will be rejected at some point; we all will have a fear, and at times inabilities. But, knowing how to move away from those and build upon them will take you down the path to a successful entrepreneur!
