So Your Networking Results Are Not Where You Want Them To Be?
We all got into networking or MLM for various reasons, most to make extra money or to get out of your current job. We all heard from the person that introduced us to networking that this person is making 6 or 7 figures with XYZ company in only 2, 3, maybe 4 years right?
So, why are you not seeing the same results that others are seeing or why are your results going so slow, while others are seeing rapid growth? I’ll be honest there are so many reasons for both that you could write a book. But, today I want to talk about your marketing and how it may be impacting your results.
Your marketing actions will determine your results and can play a major role in your success or lack thereof! You know we all get excited with joining a new company, a new product release, or a special you have to offer, and you want to blast that all over your social media sites 24/7.
I’m guessing you’re sitting there wondering what I mean, how can it impact me negatively?
Well, let me ask you this, does every person say on your Facebook page want to see only posts about your product? Or are they on social media to be social?
Here are 3 ways most people come away with negative networking results on social media:
- Spammy Posts – When people look at your social media they think they are going to see you and not only your product or service. Spamming every post with your products is the easiest way to get viewers to unfollow, hide you, or report your post as spam. On Facebook, like Google they will push down the ranking and views of your page when you get reported!
- Simply make a Fan or business page and invite people to follow your business there, this way they opted in to see your products or business posts.
- Spamming Links – Just like above posting your affiliate or MLM link all over will also get you pushed down and many social media sites have even went to blocking certain domains from being able to post links.
- Brand YOU Inc. and provide value with your own custom domain ex. ZLoescher.com/WhatIsMLSP
- Using Hashtags # – Facebook unlike Instagram or Twitter discourages hashtags and will actually penalize you for using hashtags. It’s a dead giveaways to Facebook that this is not organic content specific to Facebook and is existing elsewhere in social media. Therefore, Facebook has been shown to decrease your reach to about 6% of your audience!
While social media can be a huge asset for your business, using it incorrectly will have a negative impact on your networking results as shown! The simplest way to get the best results is to learn from an expert in the niche you want to be successful in and then find trainings that correlate to your social media platform you plan to use.
