Now, no I’m not talking about any four lettered words or any swearing here. I’m talking about the “F” words that scares some marketers, it follow-up and follow-through in your business! The Follow-up and follow-through are literally a gold mine for you to grow a prosperous business and to achieve your goals with but, many forget this little art. Did you know 71% of QUALIFIED Leads are NEVER followed-up with? And of those that are followed up with are only touched on average 1.3 times!! So, how can you Drop The F Bomb daily with your new leads and prospects? Here are 6 simple tips to use to follow-up with your leads and prospects:

  1. Once they hit that submit button, whether it’s for a free trial, a training, or video you should already have it set up to immediately send them a follow-up email! I use Aweber for my follow-up and emails (FREE 30 day trial here). Welcome them or congratulate them for taking that first step!

 

  1. If they left you a phone number get them on the phone and welcome them immediacy! So few will actually get on the phone and call their new leads or prospects! This simple phone call will put you out front from the beginning and also reinforce that you are serious about your business and invested in them as well.

 

  1. Next provide clear instruction for your new lead or prospect to get started using your product or service or how the trainings is going to help them in their business. Give them clear-cut step by step instructions on what to do and how to do it. Simply walk them through the process you need them to go through.

 

  1. Next personalize every email and correspondence you have with them. Make it personal to them using their name and sign off on your emails with your name, phone number, social media handles, and I like to have my picture as well. I want them to see who they are working with and that I am a real person.

 

  1. Make sure they are getting emails from you throughout the trail and also consistently once they either join your business or your email list. Never just send a Welcome email and call it good, you have just added that person to the 71% that are NOT followed up with. But, with that also don’t just be sending them emails to be sending emails, make those emails packed with value. Give them advice to help with their trial or training to further their interest into your business and how you can solve their problem.

 

  1. Ask for their feedback, get to know how and why they either think your product, service, or training was useful or how you could improve it. Ask them specific question to what you provided and use that to better your retention rates and to improve the products for current clients.
