Don’t just set them up and watch them disappear over the year. Hold weekly zooms or team calls and  monthly meetings to discuss everyone’s progress and to introduce new team members.

Even the best leaders will make errors. A good leader would be able to admit guilt and speak about them honestly with his team. It shows that you’re human and true.

Take responsibility for what come out in your statements. Leadership starts with being accountable for your actions and words. If you do or say something you shouldn’t have, you must make them right. Don’t expect it to be overlooked or allow others to make it right.

Successful leaders take the time to listen to others’ feedback on work issues. They might give you ideas on products or how to improve business. Don’t wait to ask for the opinions before getting criticized. This will show your audience the opportunity to be heard and builds trust among others.

Make sure that your mind is always ready to learn newer leadership abilities. There is always new techniques to learn and skills to improve. Make sure that you do everything you can to stay updated about leadership and technology.

Leaders that are generally known for their good at what they do can decide things well. It is important for you to take risks. If you are able to use available information, your intuition and vision, then you will be a leader others want to follow.
