You Create It! Part 2

Your StoryIn part one of this two-part series “You Don’t Buy Your Story, You Create It!” I talked about making your story and the first 3 pieces to your story. They are your introduction, your journey into your new business opportunity, and how you discovered network marketing.  These 3 first pieces paint a picture for your audience that tells about you and your journey to where you are today. Your Story makes it relatable to them and their life. Your story has drawn your audience in and now has them excited about business and life.

Now let’s move into the next sections to complete your story and grown your business with you becoming a great story teller!

  1. Removing Doubts About Networking – This part of your story is removing the doubts that some of your audience may have about network marketing they heard from unreliable sources. Tell your audience what reservations you had about joining your networking business and what you did to overcome those questions.

“When I got back into my networking business I did more than my research LOL Well, little did my sponsor know I was on shift for the next 3 nights, 12 hours each and by golly I sure did do my research as to why  shouldn’t join hm. Well, Friday I signed up and the rest is history. You see, I didn’t listen to people who are mad they failed or ones that heard from this person, that this person told them that. I did my research on the company, the founders, and the networking industry.”

I have heard pyramid scheme and all that but have you looked at your employer right now? In EMS we have a Chief, next is Battalion Chiefs, then we have Lieutenants, then you have your Paramedics and EMT’s. You see there is a pyramid everywhere you look. The fact in networking is you are getting paid off how hard you work, period!”

 

  1. How Has Your Networking Business Changed Your Life And Your Customers – This section is to tell your audience how the networking business has changed your life and what you are doing now. Your excitement ion your story will do the selling without you even bringing it up.

“With networking it has given me a new goal in life and I have went from the grumpy, fat EMT to a fun energetic, loving life person. The personal development and growth from learning and engaging with other networkers has been amazing. I’d tied before and quit but this time was different, I was aligned with great mentors and leaders that have shown me how to be successful

With that success I have been able to teach others and pass on my knowledge and coaching to my customers and promoters to help in their success as well. I have customers that have truly gotten their lives back from losing 400 pounds, to being able to afford to pay their bills on time. One of the best things for me is to be able to look back and go “crap that was really me?”

 

  1. Call To Action – What is it you want your audience to do now? Give them a call to action that they can’t resist. Why should they join you?

“I hope this has inspired you to take action and start on your journey in networking today. I want you to decide if you are a 1, 2, or a 3, A 1 is that you just want to be a customer, 2 you want the product and want more information on the business side, and 3 is you are ready to rock your business. Decide now which you are.”

 

Now I have given you the 6 pieces to your story, it’s up to you to go make that story sell! Once you have your story this 6 step process will not be one you share everywhere. You will have to have a few variations that may be a shortened version for times were you are pressed for time. Say meeting a new person before a flight, maybe on the elevator, or in passing at work, or over lunch. But, once you have your story these little excerpt can come easy for you to tell anyone your story!
