Do You Have The Same Business Mindset Friday As You Did Monday?

Business Mindset I won’t even guarantee you have, I know we all have those friends that live for the weekend and can’t wait till Friday gets here and they make sure everyone knows their plans for the weekend! But, what they don’t have is a mindset that is going to separate them from every other employee and that being a business mindset that will evolve into an entrepreneurial mindset!

You see as an employee your mindset is all the same basically wake-up, clock-in, work as hard as your boss tells you to, do what your boss tells you to do and when to do it, and stay for as long as your boss tells you to! You see you’re just a glorified slave to your company in that mindset!

A business mindset is almost 100 percent the opposite of the employee, as an entrepreneur you are working for yourself and work when you want, as much as you want, and you work as hard as you want! You are truly in control of your life and you control your income by your action directed at your business.

You have to have a business mindset that every day is a work day just like the previous day! There is no weekend per say because we set our schedule. You want to take a Tuesday off great, you want Saturday off for your child’s game or event. You got it, no boss to ask! With being an entrepreneur there is no Monday through Friday schedule, there is no 40+ hour work week, there is no vacation or sick days, and YOU control all of that! You are completely in control of your time because you have taken that step into a business mindset and became an entrepreneur!

Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not all fun and games, vacation all the time. There are days where you will hate life, but it is that grinding through it that will pay off when your friends and ex-co-workers still have another 20 or 30 years till retirement!

Having a business mindset is also vastly different from that of your employees due to we are always working, always thinking of the net way to build our business, the next content you are going to create, or maybe a new blog layout.

Having a business mindset will include:

  1. Having a Vision and Goal – To be successful you must have a vision and plan, step by step how you are going to get to your goals. Your step by step plan should include smaller goals that when accomplished will lead you closer to your big goal. I love using a vision board for my goals. Make sure it’s somewhere you will continually see it daily.

  1. Understand The Power OF A Brand – You want to be branding YOU Inc. everywhere you are working. People want to get to know, like, and trust you! People will buy or join because they have gotten to know you, like your business style, and they trust you as a leader.

  1. Use Networking To Build Your Business – Networking can for the most part be free (unless you attend networking events, some have fees) and is one of the best ways to build YOU Inc. and set yourself as an authority in your given niche. Networking will connect you with many people who may not directly join or buy from you, but they can easily give you leads of people they connect with or even send people to you down the road. Use social media to reach out and network by connecting with 10-20 new people daily through liking and commenting on posts or striking up a conversation with them. Networking is truly a key to success for your business growth.

  1. Give Without Expecting A Return – Now this may seem like a contradiction to a successful business plan, but it has been said “Great opportunities come your way when you offer something without looking for payback.” tech entrepreneur James Altucher This builds trust with your potential prospect and shows them you are willing to help them without expecting they join or buy immediately from you. With your business have samples to hand out or use PDF and video trainings that are a snippet of what you offer as a whole.

Using these 4 tips above will set you up for a successful business mindset and a prosperous business. You see these four points are what an employee lacks or is limited from using when they are stuck in that slave driven JOB. They are only going to work as hard as they have to so they keep getting that paycheck. You as an entrepreneur are working towards building your own future and reaching your goals you have set for yourself and your family! Go out and start using your business mindset to free yourself from the crowded employee world!

I hope you got value from this post on successful business mindset and I would love to read your comments below. Have a great day and I look forward to seeing you all around the world!
