Are You Still Grinding On The Weekends To Become A Successful Entrepreneur?
I would bet that you either were one or know a person that all they talked about and waited for was the weekend right? Those that once it comes to Sunday night are already bitching about Monday and how quick the weekend can’t come. Anyone heard of those people? Will you grind on your weekend to become a successful entrepreneur?
You see being an entrepreneur isn’t for everyone, it requires a special mindset that is almost totally against the norm of everything we were taught in school. You know the go to school, get a good education, and get a good job. Per the US Bureau Of Labor the average worker today stays at each of his or her jobs for 4.4 years. CareerBuilder.com has found only 29% feel valued at their job and just 35% have a fast commute to work. $11 billion is lost annually due to employee turnover found in a Bloomberg BNA study. Industries with highest turnover in 2014: Hospitality (20.2%), Banking & Finance (13.3%), Healthcare (13%), Insurance (11.2%) via a Compensation Force study. And an astonishing 44% of Millennials say, if given the choice, they expect to leave their current employers in the next two years per the Deloitte.
But, you’re probably asking what about some entrepreneur statistics and running a successful business, right? Well, age 40 is the average and median age of entrepreneurs when they started their current companies. Entrepreneurship doesn’t always run in the family. More than half (51.9 percent) of respondents were the first in their families to launch a business.
So, as an entrepreneur how can you manage not to fall into this mindset and change your mindset to that of a successful entrepreneur? What are you will to do so that every day is your life by design? Would you be willing to work four, five, six hours every day or maybe throw in an extra-long day once or twice a week to become a successful entrepreneur? Would you be willing to grind on the weekends to become a successful entrepreneur?
